Mr. Tom Mongare Nyandago holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Egerton University in Kenya and a post graduate International Diploma in Project Management from Centre for Finance and Project Management-Nairobi. He has also undertaken many other trainings including;
- Certificate in Policy Analysis and Advocacy from Africa Intellect-Nairobi
- Certificate in Design, Management, and Evaluation of community-based projects- Level 1 from Global Health Action-Nairobi.
- Certificate in Training in Anti-Retro-viral Therapy at workplace from Pharm Access Africa Ltd-Nairobi
- Certificate in Voluntary Counselling and Testing by National Aids and STI’s Control Programme (NASCOP)
Mr. Nyandago is currently the Field Coordinator for Massaba Rural Development Organisation in Gusii Land in which is core duties include; Training of front line community health workers, Planning and management of the community based HIV/AIDS program, Participation in fund sourcing through proposal development and making follow-up, Human rights advocacy (Especially Rights of children and women, Trainer of trainers in community development, project design, management, monitoring and evaluation, Representative of the NGO in stakeholders forums while in the field, Community mobilization and sensitization, Disaster mapping and response, Voluntary counselling and testing including trauma counselling, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting of program activities.
Previously, he has worked as a Volunteer Project Co-ordinator with Action Times Family Care (NGO) and as a High School Teacher at St. Gonzga Mixed Secondary School
